The Timaru Herald has launched a baby competition! Staff photographer Jess Parker has photographed 97 babies over 6 sessions and has been busy getting proofs out to parents to kick off photo sales. All 'Rose Bub of the Year' images are to be put on display at Roses on the Bay Market Day this Sunday as the official launch of a hopefully annual event.

God I have been busy... and fed up... thinking about leaving this goddamn profession and going back to uni to do a Bachelor in Fine Arts majoring in painting!! I always used to get annoyed at my ex-boyfriend cos he couldn't make his mind up about what he wanted to do and was always coming up with new ideas. now I see that I am no different! that's life for u... just when u think ur getting things to be where u want to be u realise it's really not what u want after all. sigh. The endless pursuit of happiness...

Why no posts?

I'm not sure why but I haven't had many pics lately for this post... maybe less mistakes?! Or too busy to notice them? Well I will instead endeavour to LOOK for interesting pics while out and about instead of hoping for the accidental. Which I know I should be doing anyway but it just hasn't happened.

I had these pics on my desktop for a couple of months... thought I might rescue a few of them before the folder went to the recycle bin. Not hard to get interesting shots at concerts when the lighting is done well. Well done roadies for the NZ Evermore tour, keep up the good work.
